Kevin Durant trashes former OKC teammates and coach on Twitter. Kevin Durant tweet about OKC may be innocent, but there is no excuse about what he said. He’s 28, a champ, on a team that might collect as much rings as he has fingers – on one hand, anyway. He should have had a fun-filled  career in OKC. But instead, he punctuated a cringe worthy off season with crazy tweets trashing his former team.

He basically cherry-picked a championship and he has the nerve to take shots at his former organization. Billy Donovan is a great coach. He prove to be a good coach at the Florida Gators. Kevin Durant said he couldn’t win a championship with OKC despite being up 3-1 in the conference finals against a team that already won a championship.Kevin Durant has his whole career ahead of him so why attack his former teammates and coach? Let’s face it, when Kevin Durant was in OKC he was ALL OKC. He is now with the Golden State Warriors and he is trashing his former teammates and former coach. I’m sorry but you don’t do that!

He joined a team that was already designed to win championships for years and all of a sudden found the Golden State Warriors needed Kevin Durant services. Guess what without him Russell Westbrook had his best seasons ever as an OKC player. They was just one or two role players away from getting a championship. He should have stayed in OKC. The Thunder never criticized Kevin Durant. Publicly, for leaving the city. They even thanked him for everything he did for the organization while he was there publicly and privately. It would really be stupid for them to do so counting what he did for the city. That is why his former teammates and coach was in absolute shock to hear of his rant on twitter. He was bound to leave soon anyway, why cause more drama.

Twitter is the new home for many of his ex-fans. Thunder fans aren’t fascinated by discussing the 9 years Kevin Durant was in Oklahoma City. Not now, anyway. They are more concerned about the few years he was at Golden State and why he left OKC. Kevin Durant can see tweets like this in his feed forever now. No matter whether he responds or not.

Still, you wonder: Why he did it? Regrets? in all probability he really don’t regret it.  Durant proved that he can coexisted with Curry and Klay. But clearly he can never coexist with Russell Westbrook again. We hope that Kevin Durant is grateful for the opportunity they gave him to play in OKC and never throw former teammates and coach under the bus.
